Why we built this
Finding someone to alter a pair of trousers shouldn't feel like a gamble. But it does. You either know someone (lucky you) or you're stuck Googling, calling shops that don't answer, and hoping for the best. We built StitchPro because there had to be a better way.
Our Story
StitchPro started in mid-2025 from a simple frustration: finding a good seamstress shouldn't be this hard. After spending hours searching for someone to alter a bridesmaid dress - calling shops with no answer, finding outdated websites, and driving across town for quotes - it became clear that skilled alterations specialists were out there, but customers couldn't find them.
Meanwhile, talented seamstresses working from home studios had the opposite problem: plenty of skills, but struggling to reach customers beyond word-of-mouth. StitchPro was built to solve both sides of this equation - connecting customers who need alterations with the skilled professionals who can help.
We believe great craftsmanship shouldn't be limited by geography. That's why we've built a platform that includes postal services, so whether you're in central London or rural Wales, you can access quality alterations from verified specialists.
